Sunday was a special day for 2 of my friends and their families and I was fortunate enough to join them as they had their youngest child Rory baptised!
It was held in a beautiful church in Bo’ness by the future Moderator of the Church of Scotland no less, it was a really poignant service and baptism.
Of course, my favourite part was near the end of the service when little Rory decided to climb up on a chair beside the font and baptise himself (soooooo……aborable) ♥
And he was rightly well chuffed with himself (equally adorable) x
After the Baptism, I had to rush off though to get back to Edinburgh before my Sister and nephew arrived at the flat x They came to stay with me overnight, so we could enjoy 2 full days together experiencing Edinburgh xxx
The 3 of us covered many, many miles on foot whilst they were here so we could enjoy the buzz of the city, many shops were visited and lots of food was consumed (and obviously all the walking cancelled out and cake that we ate)! We went to see the film War Horse at the cinema on Sunday evening and it was surprisingly good!
So as you can see, I had another lovely weekend!!
How was yours?
Tell me all about it xx
